Ode to Gentleman Jim
Home | New Page Title

For his Loving Wife, Dorothy

To a man of honor and to a man of truth,

To a man who unselfishly gave his youth,

To defend and protect those in his charge.

His obligation was never too large.

He honored us with his unselfish love,

Not unlike our Heavenly Father above.

His legacy is so simple yet grand,

This man of honor, this man of sand.

His life is one we now honor and praise,

All of the children that he lovingly raised.

And, although we didn't know

From the very start,

This man who lovingly gave his heart,

We now know..

 With love.

We loved and respected (Papa) Jim because of the

unconditional support and love that he bestowed

upon his family.  He had a wonderful sense of

honor, and protected all of those in his care.
